Roasted Garlic and Herb Veggies
Veggies make a great side dish or a topping for your green salad! Cube root veggies such as potatoes, sweet potatoes, winter squash, rutabaga, kohlrabi, etc. into 1 inch cubes. Place into a large bowl and add ¼ cup of olive oil and 1 ½ teaspoons of our “Garlic and Herb” seasoning. Toss with the veggies until thoroughly coated. Empty the bowl contents onto a large cookie sheet and bake in your oven at 425 degrees for 35-
“Sauce de Tomate Frais” ~Fresh Tomato Sauce
Have a garden full of tomatoes? Chop 4 medium fresh tomatoes into cubes. Add 1 or 2 minced garlic cloves, 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning, ¼ cup of olive oil, 1/8 cup white vinegar, and 1 teaspoon honey. Mix all ingredients together and let this marinade for 15 min. while pasta cooks. This is a perfect cold summer sauce for your favorite pasta. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
